Dark Emotion Series: Anguishby ~tisjewel

Traditional Art / Mixed Media

An original one-of-a-kind (OOAK) altered art card (ACEO/ATC) mixed media collage, the 2nd in my Dark Emotion Series

Here I took a digital photo of a woman in anguish, and colored it with different tones and drew a tear drop on her cheek, I wrote on her fingers "don't feel the pain, the pain is not real, nothing is real, it cannot touch you, don't..." -- kind of like the thoughts that are going through her head a mantra of sorts to try to dull out the pain. Over that I collaged a heart torn asunder the word "me" on one side and the word "you" on the other, the bottom is attached with a chain and ball. Over her screaming mouth is a piece of ribbon drawn over with gold leaf and black ink -- signifying her need to scream in silence.
